Legalization of Documents/Attestation

Timings:

Documents for legalization of documents/attestation could be submitted from 9 am-12 pm on Monday and Tuesday and their collection could be done from 3-5 pm on Thursday and Friday except for holidays.

Fees:

Fee payment slip of online transaction to be submitted with the application or Fees could be paid by credit/debit card at the counter in the High Commission, New Delhi ( Fee details can be accessed by click here “Fee Schedule“).

Requirements:

Attestation of Pakistani Educational documents
  1. A written request for attestation.
  2. Should be attested from concerned Educational Board/ Inter Board of Committee of Chairmen (I.B.C.C.)/Higher Education Commission (HEC) as applicable.
  3. Should be attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad, or any of its regional camp offices (Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and Quetta).
  4. Copies of CNIC and Passport.
  5. Copy of LTV/valid Indian Visa.
  6. Mobile number and Email of the applicant.
Attestation of Indian Educational documents
  1. A written request for attestation.
  2. Should be attested by the concerned Indian education authorities and authenticated/attested by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), India.
  3. Copies of Adhar Card and Passport.
  4. Mobile number and Email of the applicant.
Attestation/legalization of commercial papers
  1. Should be attested from Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), New Delhi, India
  2. Authorization letter with detailed description from the concerned company. This letter should preferably be signed by the person(s) whose signatures are also available on the documents being presented for attestation. Otherwise, additional documents may be asked for verification.
  3. Original employment card with a photocopy of the person pursuing the case with the Pakistan High Commission, New Delhi.
Attestation of Nikah Namah/NADRA Marriage Certificate
  1. Should be attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or any of its regional camp offices (Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and Quetta).
  2. Copies of CNIC and Passport.
  3. Copy of LTV/valid Indian visa.
  4. Mobile number and email of the applicant(s)
Birth Certificate (issued from Pakistan)
  1. Should be issued by:
  2. An authorized officer of the Municipal Committee/ Union Council/Town Committee/ Cantonment Board where the person was born or NADRA Birth certificate.
  3. Should be attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad, or any of its regional camp offices (Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and Quetta).
  4. Copy of Passport.
  5. Copy of CNIC.

Birth Certificate (issued from India)
  1. Should be issued by:
  2. The Birth registration authorities in India.
  3. Should be attested from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), in India.
  4. Copy of Passport.
  5. Copy of CNIC/Adhar Card as applicable.
  6. Copy of Indian Visa/LTV in case of Pakistani National.
