Welcome to the High Commission for the Islamic Republic of Pakistan New Delhi
Pakistan stretches from the majestic mountains of Karakoram in the North to the rich alluvial delta of the Indus River In the South. It Is a land that blends Incredible Karokaram mountain landscapes against a backdrop of flowing rivers amid which lie historic ruins of ancient civilizations, desert forts and magnificent gardens built by Mughal emperors and princes.
Pakistan offers unique experiences to visitors who seek pleasure in adventure and nature. Trekking, mountaineering, white water rafting, mountain and desert jeep safaris, camel and yak safaris, trout fishing and bird watching are just some activities that await you In Pakistan. Ours is a country endowed with a rich and varied flora and fauna. Pakistan is home to 108 peaks above 7,000 meters and probably as many peaks above 6,000 m.
Our modern cities and ancient bazaars are home to Intricately etched copper kitchenware, curated pottery, traditional woodcraft and hand knotted carpets alongside fragrant spice racks and steaming tea stalls.
The city of Lahore is the country’s cultural, intellectual and artistic hub, where travelers can discover a wide range of experiences from qawwali to cricket. The coastal city of Karachi is a bustling metropolis which is the financial capital and business center of Pakistan. Peshawar city is famous for its bazaars, history and Pashtun culture, while Quetta Is nestled between dry and rugged mountains and the beautiful Hanna lake. Food, fashion, art museums, shopping and roadside attractions – you will find it all in Pakistan.
