Requirements for Visit Visa

Filled-in Visitor Visa Application Form (Please click to download) with passport size photo pasted on it and complete in all respects.

4 x copies of Visa Information Form (Please click to download) for Single Entry, providing all required details including information on each place to be visited and photo pasted on each Form. Two Forms for each additional Entry are required.

Foreigners residing in India on the valid resident permit to please fill in the Visa Form for Foreigners (Please click to download). They are not required to fill the Visa Information Forms. However, they could be asked to provide additional documents, if required.

Note: Visa cannot be processed if required information in the Visa Forms is not provided and they are not complete in all respects.

Passport must be valid for the duration of visa applied (for long-term visits) or at least six months (for short visits) on the date of application.

Copy of the PAN Card/Voter ID/ Driving License along with English translation. (Identity Proof)

Copy of the Electricity Bill/Gas Bill/ Landline Telephone Bill (anyone: as address proof) clearly indicating the applicant’s address.

Notarized/Attested invitation from Sponsor in Pakistan on an Affidavit/Stamp Paper clearly mentioning the relation with the invitees, passport details of the invitee(s), and purpose for inviting the visa applicant(s) for each city to be visited in Pakistan.

Attested copy of CNIC and address proof (Electricity Bill or Telephone Bill) of reference/sponsor in Pakistan for each city to be visited in Pakistan.

For employees working in the Government: A permission/NoC from the Head of the Department or copy of the clearance from the competent authority.

For employees in the private sector: A letter from the Organization giving the details of designation, duration of service, and address of the applicant.

For self-employed: A copy of the registration of the business establishment by the Government of India/State with English translation.

For former Pakistani citizens: A copy of “Renunciation Certificate” (original is to be shown) or Pakistan Origin Card (POC).

Copy of “Form R-I”, in the case of Indian Nationals who acquired Pakistan citizenship after 1951.

For spouses (long-term visa): Attested copy of Marriage Certificate/Nikahnama and CNIC of the Pakistani spouse.

Deposit/credit slip for the applicable visa fee (Rs. 120/- per entry for Indian citizens) credited to RBL Bank, Vasant Vihar Branch, New Delhi, IFSC Code: RATN0000182, A/C No. 409000494121 in the name of High Commission for Pakistan, New Delhi. The fee could also be paid by credit/debit card at the High Commission, New Delhi (an Additional 3% to be charged on account of Bank processing charges).
