On the occasion of Baisakhi celebrations, the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi has issued over 2800 visas to pilgrims from India to participate in the annual festival scheduled to be held in Pakistan from 10-19 April 2026. The pilgrims would, inter-alia, visit Gurdwara Panja Sahib, Gurdwara Nankana Sahib and Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib.
Extending his warm felicitations on the auspicious occasion, the Charge d’Affaires of Pakistan to India, Mr. Saad Ahmad Warraich, wished the pilgrims a fulfilling and spiritually rewarding stay in Pakistan. He underscored that the visit was an affirmation of Pakistan’s abiding commitment to promote interreligious and intercultural harmony and understanding. As a proud custodian of numerous places of worship, Pakistan will continue to advance universal ideals of tolerance, goodwill, and mutual respect, the Charge d’Affaires added.
