Pakistani Zairean attend the annual urs Mubarak of Hazrat Khawaja Allauddin Ali Ahmed sabir (ra) at kaliyar sharif in India

Charge d’ Affaires, Mr. Aftab Hasan Khan, today visited the shrine of Hazrat Khawaja Allauddin Ali Ahmed Sabir (RA), Kaliyar Sharif in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, and laid the traditional chaddar on behalf of the people and the Government of Pakistan. A group of 150 Pakistani Zaireen is visiting Kaliyar Sharif to attend the 754th annual Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Khawaja Allauddin Ali Ahmed Sabir (RA).

On arrival at the Dargah, the Charge d’ Affaires and Pakistani Zaireen were welcomed by Sajjada Nasheen Hazrat Shah Ali Manzar Aijaz Quddusi Sabri. After placing the traditional chaddar, special prayers were offered for those affected by the floods in Pakistan.

On this occasion, the Charge d’ Affairs stated that the message of Hazrat Khawaja Allauddin Ali Ahmed Sabir (RA) was of love, amity, and brotherhood, which he espoused through his life and teachings. The Charge d’ Affaires also highlighted the role of visits to religious shrines (under the 1974 protocol) in the context of people-to-people exchanges between Pakistan and India. He thanked all those present at the shrine, especially the administration for facilitating his visit on the auspicious occasion.
