The 51st Defence Day of Pakistan was observed HCP
The 51st Defense Day of Pakistan was observed at the Pakistan High Commission, (Tuesday) to pay tributes to the martyrs and commemorate their sacrifices in the defense of the motherland in the 1965 war. On the occasion, while paying homage to the sacrifices of the armed forces and the nation during the 1965 war, High Commissioner Abdul Basit said that Pakistan was a peace-loving country but at the same time the nation is ready to defend the country from any external threat/ aggression. He said that Pakistan’s armed/security forces are capable enough to foil evil designs of those who want to destabilize the country. A documentary based on the sacrifices and achievements of Pakistan Armed Forces during 1965 War was also screened. On the occasion, students of the Pakistan High Commission School also presented a colorful program based on national songs and a tableau. While concluding the ceremony, special prayers were also offered for the prosperity and well being of the nation.
